Event Report & Thank You: TCG Supply Marche
Share
On Saturday, August 2, we held the TCG Supply Marche, a new cultural event originating in Kasukabe and built around social-media co-creation, local partnerships, and charity.
A total of 288 people, including staff, attended, making it a lively and memorable event.
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who visited, exhibited, helped with operations, or supported the event in any way.
■ What Is the TCG Supply Marche?
Built around the concept of “touch, choose, and buy,” the TCG Supply Marche was held at Sonic City in Omiya as an experiential exhibition and sales event focused specifically on accessories for trading card games.
The event was organized by Sunny Day Market Co., Ltd., headquartered in Kasukabe, Saitama, and operator of the YOROI brand. The concept was developed through user co-creation, informed by more than 1,000 survey responses collected through social media.
■ How the Event Began
Sleeves protect cards, but they are also something players physically handle every time they play. Through daily conversations on social media, we became increasingly aware of how important it is for players to find sleeves that truly suit them.
“I bought the wrong size...”
“The sleeves I bought just didn't feel right for me.”
Finding the right sleeves often takes trial and error.
Then someone casually suggested: “What if people could try sleeves before buying them, like a food sample at a store?”
That simple idea became the starting point for the event. Turning it into a real event, however, proved more challenging than we expected.

■ Looking Back at the Event
We reviewed the event based on our visitor survey.
• Attendance reached 288 people including staff, and about 60% of visitors were in their 30s. We also saw many families attending together.
• Average stay was approximately 70 minutes. Some visitors browsed all the booths and left soon after, while others joined hands-on activities and stayed for more than two hours.
• Around 72% said purchasing original TCG accessories was one of their reasons for attending, while about 47% came to try sleeves. This reinforced our sense that there is real demand for an event centered on TCG supplies.
• Overall satisfaction was high. In particular, about 67% of respondents said they were very satisfied with event operations and staff support on the day.
